Stock shortblocks in order:

JPC first N/A in the 11's 11.9xx

Ron Leonard 11.8x

Dave Stauder 11.8x

Carlos Sobrino 11.7x

JDM did it with a stroker

These are the ONLY ones that I know of......

I thought Justin was one of them, but I couldn't find anything on it. Didn't know JDM was with a modded bottom end. Never heard of Carlos. Do you know his handle?

Anyone know the weight of all these cars?

I think Carlos's car is VERY light; lighter than 3500 w/ diriver; but I could be wrong.

It is what makes this n/a meet great for everyone to be together at same d/a and scale to see who's who, and what's what :D

Carlos says 3200 lbs w/driver. Holy crap! I'm sure it is fast and fun to drive, but that is not a street car.

If I don't make any more power mod to my car, but get the weight down 1000 lbs, I'll be running low 11's. Shit, if I had a pure track car, I could get the stock bottom-end NA car into the 10 NP.

10's? Even with weight reduction I think to get these blocks into the 10's all motor would take a stroker, high cr, stage 3 heads and a really aggressive cam, with a 4k rpm stall and/or a really stout manual trans. I could be wrong.

As for 11's, I know a guy that is trying to gut his car and get 11's on the stock block with stock heads and cams.

I was being facetious.

A stripped chassis from Ford with a single seat, an auto trans, P&P heads w/comp stage 3 cams (or custom grind), no HVAC or unneeded hardware / wiring, etc... similar to the FJ500CJ - weights 3100 lbs. You would need about 460/470 rwhp to get in the 10's. I don't think that would happen with a stock bottom end and NA either.

I full expect to run 11's this year with a fully stock ENGINE. NO mods from TB to Pan. My car is almost 200 lbs lighter than when it ran a 12.23 last year. Longtube headers, high flow X pipe, taller 28 in. DRs, and 4:56s will be in the car soon.

Stock 17s on the back and 17 in Alumastars on the front for this season. I had stock 17s all around last year. I would like to get a set of 15 in Jegs wheels for the rear this season if money allows.
