Doug said my manifold will be dropped shipped Monday. So I should have it installed and retuned by next weekend. We'll see...

Not sure how to interpret this but Doug said yesterday "Things at C&L have changed in the past few weeks about the shipping, I thought they would have shipped at or around the same time as Charlie's did on the forum but he says they've had some more delays." Perhaps they're just waiting for the June MM&FF issue to hit the streets. Doug offered me a refund, which I refused, but he said my order was the absolute next to be filled. I'll wait another month, and if it's still a no show, then will take the refund and spend 2x the cost on the JPC manifold. At least they're available...
As for racing, the delete plate installation and new tune obviously were giving me problems at the track. Zach said the car felt much worse than it did last year, and I agree. Two tenths off my best and I had to fight for the ET that I got. With that air I should have broke into the low 12s.
I've got money for the heads, ironically, but really wanted to hit 11s without them. Just deciding on what cam (Livernois custom or Comp) to complement them, and then will pull the trigger...
I'm bummed.

Bummed myself...
Ive heard different things about the cam issue.
1. Livernois are locked
2. Comps are limited
Comp being a larger company, and we are finding out that this 3v cam mystery has been overhyped a bit. From the start we thought .5 was ALOT and that .55 was nearly unthinkable... now streeted .55, .56 lift cams w/ 112 lsa are common as the day is long.
I can only speak for myself, but I got the 127300's b/c at the time, they were used safely... that was concern #1.
To do over, SPR II's or a custom grind close to that... No doubt.
Too many people running fast and safe with them not to choose anything else (maybe FI specific duration or little more lsa for dd).
At the same time, I dont think the gains are worth time and $ for me to swap... if there were intake choices...
torque, FI, high rev, etc... I could make this all work...

Livernois told me "limited" for all NA applications, and "locked" for FI. I have a pretty an email explanation from them if you want me to post it.
I personally think the 127300 is a very mild cam that played it safe with everything. It just doesn't do all that much. Over time folks are figuring out how to play with the software and VCT system a bit better, and engineered solutions to fit the new thinking. I guess Ford really got it right with this motor, and it's just plain hard to find hp and torque.
Putting in a new set of cams is a pain but not all that bad. I'm pulling the 127300 and will use it as a door stop...
