I think my 127300 Comp cam is about at the end of it's useful life. Personally, this was a preliminary experiment from Comp, and while it's been fun on the street, it's inadequate at the track. The damn thing just isn't providing upper end grunt as adverstised.
I'm really contemplating pulling the trigger on Livernois Stage II heads, and am working up an acceptable deal with them for that package, studs and gaskets. Rick suggested their own cam grind but I haven't yet received specs. I truly need a balance of streetability and track use, but leaning more towards top end.
Looking here http://www.compcams.com/3valve/, I think the 127500/limiter is the better balance. The dyno seems overly optimistic, but the high rpm curve improvements are tempting:

Im in the same boat...
With me, it's not if, but when... if Intakes aren't out by my April 22nd date, it will be then.
I wish there was somewhere that could take our stock take offs and do regrinds;)

I was talking to Woodbine Motorsports regarding all this recently, and a good point made is the time in development and testing with the C&L manifold. It's been a very long wait but you can't deny they've got a lot of dough into this thing. Since it's already paid for I guess there is no harm waiting a bit more, and I can go ahead and get my heads paid for and shipped out. Just wait and do it all at once I guess. Didn't want to move up a class but what the heck...
Stock valve lifts:
Int. .439 Ex. .436
127300: Good power up to 6400 rpm 26113 springs
Int. .490 Ex. .480
Dur. 222 235
127500: Good power up to 6900 rpm 26113 springs+limiters
Int. .535 Ex. .550 (That dyno graph looks extremely optimistic)
Dur. 229 236
127600: Power from 1000-7100 Ported heads required + High
Int. .547 Ex. .560 load springs + limiters.
Dur. 272 283
The 127300's were pretty much the only game in town at the time, they were/are safe but not the best option now.
I like the 127500's and think that's the way to go. You already have the springs (the hard part of the swap) the cams are easy.
With a head swap, I would have a hard time not using the 127600's. My only thought with the 127600 using higher load springs, it will use some of the gains to work the extra spring load. 127500's may spin nicer but not take full advantage of the better flowing heads and extra rpm ability.

You'll have to tell me how the car is performing just driving around town afterwards.

Well, let's see what Rick at Livernois says Monday. I'm ready to send those folks a check.

I'll do better than that. I'll come up some weekend and you can drive it for a bit and see what you think.

Oh yea. Some people really gave me crap about wasting money and the car running worse or that same with the bigger tubes. I had my eye on the big picture the whole time. It's gonna rock.

I think our new class is going to have at least 5 cars at this point (ported heads)...
