I have a bolt on 06gt with Lt's, 3000 stall and 4:10's. I will be adding NSR cams, Slicks and skinnies (MT ET bias plys 26's) and BMR K member with A arms. Are 4:30's to much? From what I have always heard I want to cross the traps at the top of my 1:1 trans gear ratio as close as possible. With a 26 inch tall tire and the rev limiter set at 6500 I should be able to do 117 which is more than plenty right?

With the 26" tires I think you will be just about right.

With the NSR style cams where in the RPM range do these cars stop making power? I was just out and it looks like at WOT my car is shifting a little before 6250 ish.

Check the NSR Specs for the rpm range, they have different stages. Comp cams has some good choices and published the specs. I think the 127200's are the best NSR option for you if you are talking stricly performance and don't want to change springs. The Thumpers may sound cool but you wont get the gains up top you are looking for.

Like Art mentioned, I would recommend the Comp Cams 127200's as well. I had them in my car and picked up a shade more than 30 rwhp w/stock heads and LT's. I was at peak HP @ 6200 RPM, which was also the end of the power band.

What do you shift at Chad? I have .30s and .56s sitting here and am trying to decide which to go with? I am planning on 27 in tall MTs

4.56's w/ TR6060 shift 6300 1-2m 2-3, and 3-4 6500
