View Full Version : Ice + NXT 2.0 + New Edge Mustang

Finally decided to give a hard core detail to Becky's car. Been at it all day. I used the following:

A little rubbing compound on the lower bumper - be careful with this stuff - only for deep stains
ICE
NXT Tech Wax 2.0
Mothers Chrome Polish for the exhaust tips
We will still have to replace the front bumper and hood, and reshoot the whole car, but that is for later down the road. Overall it did brighten the car up and wake up the old paint. Here are some pics:

Turtle Wax ICE? I love that stuff. That car looks fabulous Todd.

Yea, I did a coat of ICE, and then put two coats of NXT Tech Wax 2.0 on it. Now if only the car will break into the 13's both the wife and I will be happy.

I used Zaino Bros. for years, the price was a little out there so I started using ICE, and NXT as well, they are almost as good as Zaino...

I have not used Organics (Carnauba Wax) for over 15 years. and My cars finishes have never looked better. Polys rule.. :coolup:

Organics are good for Garage Queens, they don't hold up to weather and can damage your clear coat

Nice way to make her car SHINE Man, Looks Great.

BTW did you know you can use ICE on plastic and it will not leave a white film. it makes plastic shine like new !!!

turned out great. i personally hate ICE with the exception of their kwik detail. Using the nxt afte the ice was a smart move.

Thanks all. This was a ways back...of course I need to get back out there and do it again. I'll be getting the black car back soon too and will be doing that one.
