Well, I am finding myself in a strange spot. I have some BMR Race LCA's with hemispherical joints on both ends. They are a clucking, banging noise machines... LOL. BUT, when I installed the BMR tubular LCA's with polyurethane I lost 1.5 tenths off my 60'. :(

I am going to a T&T this weekend and I wanted to put the Hemi LCA's back in to try them out with my new power upgrades. If they work well, I am going to keep them in until after our November race. I want every advantage I can get to drop the ET on this car.

Does anyone know hat I can do to safely clean some surface rust off the hemi joints? I don't want the joint to get damaged or to lose any strength from abration or chemicals.

Also, does anyone know what to do to quiet the knocking on these things?

Thanks,
Spaz

soap and water with a scotchbrite pad and then clean dry and light grease film on ball/joint
