OK I put shorty headers X pipe and true dual MAC's on, and lost 1 second of time off of my et, I left the cats on to help with the torque but still lost that time, I understand that I might not be able to get off of the line as fast with the high flow exhaust so, why would you do this if you don’t get that lost time back somewhere else, now I had an el cheepo CAI, and I have replaced that with a JLT thinking that maybe I'm just not getting enough air in for the new exhaust, and I finally got the car tuned for it, I use the Sniper tuner and it took a while to find someone that could tune for the JLT with the Sniper, but I haven’t had it on the track yet, I will tomorrow, but my question is, now that I have high flow in and out of the motor, what's the next few things to do so that I can take advantage of the high air flow rate, I'm thinking about injectors, but I don’t know if that’s the way to go, do I need larger injectors, and if so Why, I'm and old school carb mechanic, and I can make a car with a carb scream, so I know the basics, but I realize I need some help adapting myself to the new fuel injection cars.
So, any help?

The car needs to be retuned on a dyno for the exhaust mods. Changing the CAI was a good start too, but I am not a big fan of Sniper. On the S197's, it seems really limited compared to Diablo and SCT. Given you need to tweak the AFR and timing for the big exhaust mods, I would recommend bringing it to someone with a lot of experiance on tuning the S197's with one of those two tools.

You have 19# injectors. Those are good for 380+ RWHP, so I would skip that. After the tune, ring and pinion gears would be the next step I would take.

Ya well the gears are on the list, and the sniper Special Forces is very limited on the s197, anyone that has an s197, I would tell you don't by the Sniper Special Forces, there are all kinds of things that don't work on our cars with this unit, including the data logger, and there is nothing on the Sniper site that tells you that, I had to go and buy a separate data logger for my car. But I got a guy I'm working with that knows the 197's and he's real good with the sixers, and he's using the sniper Commando, and that ones not limited at all, you change anything you want, I'm just not paying the extra $400 for the upgrade, and specially since I realized that I really need to let someone else do my tuning, and I can load the tunes with my sniper, I have a data logger and that's what he's working off of rite now, and she feels pretty good, I need to get him a good wide band reading though, I don't have one so I'll get her on a dyno as soon as I can, and send him that info, then he can do the fine tuning, so we'll see how she runs tomorrow at the shoot out.
as for the injectors, you told me just what I thought, there are a lot more things that would have to have been done on the motor before I would need to change the injectors, the stock ones can more then keep up with whats been done up to here.
I don't make buckets of money so things get done when they can, And I own 2 tuners now, the grannatelli that I'm highly disappointed in, and the Sniper SF, and I already told you about that one, so I'm not buying any more tuners, I have 1 too many now, LOL.
Thanks for the advice

Chris (Flapjack) is the only guy I know that has used the sniper effectively with the 4.0s. Personally, unless you go custom built motor and plan to tune it yourself, I would sell it and go SCT XCAL 2/3.

Look forward to meeting you tomorrow.
