Transmission Swap, I lost the trans to Excessive Miles (70,000) and 300 passes at the 1320.. It was only a matter of time. The 5R55S is not a strong Transmission, it's complicated and has some weak parts,
Servos - garbage
(When servos go the bands are trashed)
Input shaft - garbage
Solenoids - garbage

There are some kits to rebuild it better than stock so I am going to give it a try. I have never rebuilt a transmission so this should be interesting, I will always try somthing once, I am not shy about that.
