Weather permitting, Mason Dixon October 3...
I am planning on that too... weather permitting.
I have a line lock kit on order from American Muscle that I should receive Tuesday. If the weather permits I am going to have it installed before the 3rd to go racing.
See ya there (weather permitting)

I got the SLP line lock kit with the prebent and cut lines. I am installing a push button (momentary switch) in my cup holder. I already fabricated a plate with a "ready" light and a toggle to activated the system so it is not hot all the time. The push button and toggle I am using are just temporary, I have a better button and a "keyed Switch" to activate the system in route but probably won't have them in time for Saturday. I am adding an additional light too. So I'll have an Amber light when the system is armed, and a red light weh the button is down to indicate functionality. Over kill? Yes it is but I had time on my hands friday night so....

My original intent was to mount the button on my shifter handle which is why the two holes are in the shifter handle. But i decided against it because I'd have to put a hole someplace that would be unsightly...
EDIT:
Single solenoid at least for now...

I got the line lock installed today but I need to get the rear brakes bled or else I won't be racing Saturday. I have Russell speed bleeders on the front but not on the rear and I do have air in my rear (air in my rear? that sounds ugly) and need to bleed.

I'm working and won't be home until around 8-8:30, but I should be able to swing by fo 15-20 minutes to knock it out. Let me know. If you need my number again... PM me.

I'm ready to go, and Laura's ready and pumped too. Mounted up my drag radial set on her car, and we'll see if those new lower control arms and relocation brackets help with the wheel hop:

Last year I ran a Consistant 12.4-12.5 with this setup
JLT II CAI (BamaChips 93 Dyno Tune)
Steeda UDP's
Steeda CMDP
JBA Long Tube Headers
JBA Catted X-pipe
FRPP GTA Mufflers
FRPP 4.10 Gears
Spyder Aluminum DS
TCI Super Street Fighter 3500 Converter
CHE Lower Control Arm
Steeda Adj UCA
LPW Differential Cover Girdle
Eaton TrueTrac Locker
275/50x17 M&H Drag Radials
My Best 1/4 Mile Time to date is 12.299 @ 110.06 MPH at a DA of -100
Now I put in a new 5R55S and COMP 127200 NSR Cams,
and I struggled to get this time slip today..
60" - 1.914
330" - 5.424
1/8 - 8.318
MPH - 84.94
1000' -10.846
1/4 - 12.991
MPH - 104.91
Track Elevation: 552 feet above sea level
Air Temperature: 63.0 degrees F
Barometric Pressure: 29.94 inches Hg
Relative Humidty: 60 %
Density Altitude: 1074 feet
Relative Density: 96.9 %
The Car was horrable off the line, I stalled up to 2800 and the bar Bogged the entire 60'+ 2 seconds lator it would take off.
I have no Idea what to do now, I switched back to my Dyno tune fefore cams and I had little improvment, the Air Fuel was at 11.8 I bunmbed it 6% Lean (Max) and that got me to 12.5 Since it's so Rich I added timing Both Global and for each rpm range, the knock sensors were reading 2900 on the Aeroforce guage.
My Tuner said that the NSR Cams do not require a Tune, he also fixed the O/D off Flashing light issue, said it had to do with the converter locking up and a sensative sensor needed to be adjusted.
So are NSR Cams a Waste, I lost 3/4 of a second ET and 5 mph with them..

Scott,
I think its time to strap that car down and get a retune with the cams. Will also let you maximize your other mods.
I just finished studying my datalogs. I'm hitting the traps around 5460 rpm. My timing is also down at 12 degrees. I may need a re-grear, but need to get my timing up to around 17ish before I determine a gear.
Scott, this (http://www.brenspeed.com/02location.html) was my first thought. The other things that come to mind are: You have made a few different changes, which makes it tough to pick one thing. I also believe while the cams "do not require" a tune you would certanly benefit from it to optimize them. The DA should have dumped a little more than a tenth, but that's about it. Your 60" is the most obvious problem. What tire pressure were you running and did you try to adjust at all? If your bogging and hesitating off the line it will take forever to build RPM's back up to the power band.

Front 02 Sensor Harness Location
http://site.brenspeed.com/tech/images/02harnesssmall.gif (http://javascript<b></b>:openWin('http://site.brenspeed.com/tech/images/02harness.jpg');)
One of the biggest mistakes after removing the front 02 sensors on a 05 and newer mustang is re-installing the wiring harness incorrectly. The result is an overly rich condition along with poor idle and part throttle acceleration. We receive calls for this after turbo installs, exhaust installs, clutch installs, and any other time a customer removes the front 02 harness. Ford has located your 02 harness in a location that makes it very easy to mistake the left for the right and vise versa. When you do this the computer will try to compensate the wrong bank of the engine for a 02 signal from the opposite bank. Not only will this make the car drive very terrible but it can make part throttle acceleration at times impossible.
Solution? Check out the image to the right to view the correct factory Ford routing of the 02 harness. You MUST use this routing or your engine will not run correctly. This is the first thing we have customers check after they have removed the front 02 sensors and then reinstalled them to find part throttle and idle engine issues. We have had cars shipped to us from as far as 12 hours away to find out this was what was causing all their troubles after they installed long tube headers. Take the time to confirm you wire the front 02's correctly and GOOD LUCK!
I will ask the Trans Installer about his.
My DR's are at 15.5 lbs, but I am not spinning them, I will stall the car to 2800 and hit the gas but the car will not respond for 2 seconds it moves forward but it will take 2 sec to revv up and take off. sounds like it's drowning on gas "gurggle" noise. Like Todd Said, it will need to be strapped down.
My point for writing this is the fact that I am running the Dyno Tune from July 2008, the only real difference was the CAMS, Doug stated that the CAMS do not need to be tuned, Then why is the car falling on it's face with just a Cam swap?
Todd
I am going to get a dyno tune, just short on cash right now, after the Trans replacement and rebuilding the Engine in my Moms Saturn, I am Broke, so I am looking for a work around till I can get a dyno tune.
Tillman, Excessive and Woodbine are all around 300 - 400 for a dyno tune, this may have to wait till next month.

I had a great time yesterday Racing and Hangin out with Scott and Marc and a lot of other guys all of whos names I can't remember. Sorry things didn't go better for both of you guys yesterday but I appreciate the tips or suggestions you guys gave me. I didn't do as well as I had hoped it's been since 1972 since the last time I faced the light tree. The car did as well as it could do but the driver needs a lot of practice my reaction times just killed me, and I had a problem "hooking up" with my street tires. Maybe next season I can improve a little.
Thanks again to everybody I had contact with, a really nice day for me.

I'm glad you had fun! Ceece and Ebby do a pretty good godd getting that setup for us and it's always a blast. I had funn hanging out too. Scott and I are going to have to go back to the board on our cars. Leasons learned I guess.
Don't forget to get your ET and time slip posted up in the "Garage". It's a great way to share with your friends and track your pogress.
