Ok guys im registerd to run in the event but had a few questions as if I am legal. I have a 2004 Lightning the has a built motor, Livernois stg 2 heads, Comp stg 2 cams, 2.3 whipple at 17lbs, long tubes, BTS trans, PI 2800 convertor, NX kit at 75 shot, bogart 15x10s and 15x4.5s, full fuel system, and supporting mods. Now the most power the truck has made was 656hp and 717tq off the spray and lower boost its getting tuned on the spary and higher boost on race gas before the event and the way things are looking it will be over 700hp and high 700 low 800tq, now I dont have a cage yet and was wondering if I would get kicked out of the event for going too fast? If the truck puts down the above power then it should be into the deep 10's, now im planning on getting the cage done this year but was just making sure since this is a private event that I wont get kicked off the track for running that fast. Also is it alright to bring a camper down on sat. and stay at the track over night? Thanks for reading just dont want to go down there to get kicked out for running to quick without the proper safety devices.

HP does not dictate whether you need a cage or not, it's your 1/4 mile times, what do you run. The Track has rules and I think it's 10.99 or faster.
If you think you will run in the deep 10's you maybe asked to shut down. Maybe we can distract the ticket booth guy, LOL,
All I can say is give it a try, The track has rules, how hard they enforce those rules is another question I can not answer.
All I can say is THATS ONE BAD ASS TRUCK YOU GOT THERE !!!

I talked to the track owner about this. He said as long as you have the propper clothing (jeans, no flipflops, etc.) and a helmet, you will be ok runing 10's. If you pop a 9 or break 150, you better have a chute and cage though. LOL
Camping there is fine as long as it's not in the pits. They have a dedicated aea. I was thinking about doing that

Good to hear about the camping Saturday night. JJ is trailering my car down and if it's just the two of us we're staying onsite overnight...
I'm in for the camping as well!!

ok I was just making sure I wasnt going to make the trip for nothing. I know hp doesnt equate to a time but the truck has been 11.6 on 520hp and high 500tq so im pretty sure with over 200 more hp that it will be deep tens, looking forward to the event and meeting some of you guys!
