Rainy race season

This is fucking crazy. I think I've raced maybe 20-30% of what I normally do given rainouts this year. Yet another TnT down the tubes this weekend due to a complete rainout. I've got ONE DAY on the new manifold and ONE DAY switching to ET Streets. This car is no where near where I wanted it by year's end. I didn't make a single improvement all year. I'm tempted to dump a load of money into the '97 and just parking that red bitch...

LOL... don't feel too bad bro. I spent and ass-load of money and dozens of hours under the car just to only make 30 passes all year, lose 6/10ths, and not "compete" in one single event. If I don't get to run at the Rock, I might just light the bitch on fire!

By the sound of it, unless the '97 you speak of is a 4x4 and you are going play in the mud... couldnt take it to the track either! LOL!

Apprec., HEAVY... You aint just a shittin'! It weights ALOT!! And high on the front.. NOT good!!

Ive replaced hood shocks twice... gone already... just use my 'special tool' to hold it up! LOL

May throw on oem hood for 'slip' run this Sunday, re route my brake ducts to CAI for the run to keep cool air available.

:coolup: Right now it's looking very good--I was really worried for a while there!! But JJ (our sponsor from Woodbine Motorsports) stepped in and graciously "insisted" on trailering my car down Saturday, and so it's just gas on me. We're planning on just camping out at the track that evening, and will have the car prepped for Sunday's early morning time trials.

Frankly, I haven't had any time to dial in the car at all (I'm sitting home in the pouring rain yet again, instead of TnT at Mason Dixon) so it's truly up in the air what I'll be running. I'm just hoping for cooler, drier air and a sunny sky. That almost guarantee's me my very low 12s. We'll see...

Laura may come too, not sure yet. But all things look very green for me!
