I took my eibach springs out and put in CJ rears, and also went with a 26 by 11.5 ET street on a 9 by 17 rim to lower my gears.hopefully this combo will help my 60' and lower my et's at the same time.will try it out sun. and letyou know.

I have "heard" that CJ springs are really V6 springs. Is this true? I just went to the same ET Street size and it has me all screwed up re-learning how to hook compared to my faithful 295 series ET Street Radial. I had hoped to race at MIR this weekend but this weather SUCKS.

Rides like a Cadillac! It may not have the stance, (fast looking lowered) but the ride is GREAT... havent taken them off!

Wouldnt concider driving to the Rock w/o these springs!

The CJ springs are V8 rear springs and V6 front springs. I just put a set in my car and they feel pretty good on the street.

Hey Bill, just curious if you know. There seems to be quite a difference in part #s on the stock springs VS the CJ'S. It seems ther's a diffrence between the Cal Special, GT, Bullett, Shelby GT, convertible, etc. As far as I know, no one has matched a part# to the CJ's. For the price of the CJ's it really doesn't matter that much. It's just for curiousity sake.

I checked the rear number when I had my car apart. There is a 2 letter difference at the end but the rest of the number is the same. I was told by my friend at Ford that they were V6/GT springs, I just checked the number out of curiosity when I had it apart. Ford lists different part numbers in microcat for a couple models. Cp and CV are different, Shelby GT and Bullitt are specific. I did not check the cal special but I am pretty sure it uses a stock GT spring.

The price is a dead give away though if you are used to dealing with Ford Racing Parts. They would never sell them that cheap unless they were off the shelf parts. A lot of their other springs are made by Eibach and are $169+

That's about the same conclusion I and others have come up with. I saw a height difference between my stockers and the CJ's. Both front and back.
