Hey guys... I am not going to be able to make Cecil this weekend. I completely forgot we had someone comming from out of town to visit. I am going to have to try to catch up with you all another time.

I broke two lugs during my last outing, they are the cheap Ford stock ones.....the metal caps broke, appears the lugs underneath are fine. These are for the fronts. As for the rest, I'm unable to wrestle them off, and I've snapped bolts and lugs clean off before by hand...so I know its not a strength issue. They are definitely over tq'd.
Just got in from the wife's holiday duty....lights, decorations, whole 9 yards. So doubt I will get down to your house in time to do this and head out tomorrow.
On top of that, I lost my serial to usb adapter for the laptop, so I can configure the transmission. I think bringing down my shifts 300rpm will yield a few more 10ths, along with the new tune that has some additional timing.
I'll just call it a season. I know there is more in the car, but will have to wait...unless I hit Cecil on the 5th.

It wasn't clear if you broke studs, the lug nuts or both, but I have a complete set of ARP studs for the S197, front and back (100-7722 and 100-7723) if you need them in a pinch. Because of their length, you'll need open ended lug nuts for your race and street tires sets (I was too lazy to get the open ended sets this year) but you can have them and just replace the set for me later in the spring.

I have “pang of conscience” for the quality but the reporting by Bill aka 28hopup is excellent.
I’m not even going to tell anyone what happened when I TRIED taking ‘IN CAR’ video’s…dough
