Best pass before was a 12.23@110.89 with a 1.69 60 foot time. Bone stock motor, stock headers, stock wheels, etc

Added CJ Drag springs and BBK longtubes which goes against my "one part at a time" mentality but I have been rained out so often this year I could not test.

Went to Cecil on a Friday night. Air was good but wasn't great for a November at Cecil. I have not raced at Cecil on a Friday night in years and the place was PACKED. Waited an hour for first pass. Launched at 4000 and bogged 1.81 60 foot 12.32@111 MPH was promising Made about 5 more passes and every pass either bogged or spun 12.29-12.31 every pass but the MPH was 111-112. The longtubes were making power

I finally got behind a car that put down some good rubber and launched aggressively (4500) but not full bore. Car finally hooked decent but didn't leave as hard as it has before 1.74 60 foot time 12.22@112.51 If I could have matched my previous best 60 foot that was a least a deep 12.teen if not a 12.0!! I lined up against a similar S197 GT at the end of the night but the car in front of him broke and my tires got cool waiting and the pass sucked.

Gonna try again on Saturday. I still think an 11.99 on the stock wheels with a stock throttle to pan motor is possible on a PERFECT pass!! If not serious weight reduction, drag wheels, and slicks are next!

Bill, I have 26" MT ET Streets and MT skinnies mounted on light weight Bogarts. You are welcome to try them out if you've moved the rear swaybar. Get your camera ready too as that front end is likely to come up if you hook em hard...

Bring your car and and run em John! I would love to borrow them if you are not using them but I would much rather see you come and and run a good number too!

Move or remove the rear swaybar? It is still stock

I need a tune for this new manifold, and I'm not sure JJ can get it in this week. I'd need to call tomorrow and see what he has going. The following weekend at Atco Sunday may be a better option.

The bottom of the stock swaybar BRACKET needs trimmed a bit with a sawsall, and the brackets move the mount site up a bit and out of the way. I actually have a BMR kit if you want to crawl underneath and we can get er done.

Let me see if Saturday is an option...

fixt!

JJ, if I were in driving distance to a good track w/ that DA, I'd have my mail sent there!

Great runs! Best of luck!

Just bring your car up to Cecil next season so I can show you what a stocker can do :)

I wish I could get a mineshaft air day down there. The few times it did not rain out the air was not all that great. There was at least a 600 ft difference between my 12.23 last year and my 12.22 this year. I checked on dragtimes and the DA was around +325 for my 12.22 pass
