Not a lot of modifications, but I am doing a few. I got a Detroit TruTrac enroute that goes into the car on Friday. I also finally ordered a cage. The first cage I wanted was a tad out of my budget (though it is clearly the best).
I had to improvise and do some research. I decided to get the Maximum Motorsports cage. I read good things about them, and I can do most of the install myself. Once I do the initial install, I'll take it to the shop to have the out of car welding done. There is no in-car welding with this kit, and if I had the equipment, I could do the welding myself I think.
Here is a link to it:

I'm pretty stoked about installing this thing. I read the manual a few times now, looks pretty good. Not sure if I will have it install before the brawl or the shootout.
After this, I will be saving up for some cams and valve springs for the car.

Have any idea what it weighs?

Actually I don't, I figured I would have to accept the weight regardless as I want to be fully legal. I also need to install an external kill switch for my battery as it is relocated to the trunk.

I'm waiting for the day when they say those words...."you have to stop....you are running to FAST...you have to install a ROLL GAGE...."
When I hear that, I will stop, turn on the Video Camera and say as I am standing next to "Tara" ..... Would You Repeat That For The Camera....:gwave:

I got it from Forward Performance in the classifieds section on Kimmers site. 400 shipped. Not sure if he has any more at that price.

Yea, its a cool feeling with the sixer, but after awhile sucks a little when you can't run (then) FFW or now NMRA.
Ok.....
Got back from Excessive. Got the TruTrac installed, and they also busted the lugs loose on the fronts. The last half of last season, I didn't run my skinnies cause I had a few damaged stock ford lugs on the front.
Chris had to take his large impact wrench to get them free. Then replaced them with some aftermarket lugs that don't have the issue the stock lugs have. Also did the usual pre-season prep to the car, oil change, new fuel filter.
Cage should arrive this Friday. I will start with sanding it down, some primer then painting it with Duplicolor Dark Charcoal. After 3 or 4 coats, I'll begin the install into the car.
My front V6 springs are finally starting to show their age with the cast iron 5.4 leaning down on them. So I need to replace them. I think I'm going to go with some stock GT front springs, since they pretty much cost nothing. Chris thought they should give me about 3/4 of an inch up front which will put them back to the way they were with the 4.0 in the car. May also try some GT500 springs, not sure...

Chris said once I have the cage in the car he can weld it underneath.
