Man, I am stoked. So much in fact that I used the word "stoked". LOL

Thanks to my friend John (boss281) I now have a C&L Race CAI.

Thanks a million John! Good people right there... which reminds me. Please support his NA Shootout event in the fall.

I have been running the C&L Street all this time. It flows about 1,000 CFM. The C&L Race flows about 1,070 CFM. The extra 7% flow (hopefully) will give me enough of an advantage that I may bump some more ET off my times. I won't speculate how much, but hopefully some.

The only thing I am concerned about is the fact that I am already running out of fuel on the top-end. I really need to get a boost-a-pump or some GT500 dual pumps. We'll see how it goes. I'll have the wideband on it while I do the dyno pulls.

I'll keep you guys up to date.

That's awesome, can't wait to see how it works out for you.

Thanks bro!

I got the intake installed just a few minutes ago. I wrote a new tune for it, but it is equal to a "safe" e-mail tune from one of the reputable vendors out there.

Next Saturday, Chris at Excessive Motorsport is going to let me use his dyno to dial it in. I am not expecting anything on the peak numbers, but I am hoping the TQ curve down in the lower RPM will get a little bump.

Marc, are your cams locked out or limited?

Mine are locked out. Per comp, they are too high a lift and duration to limit or there could be valve/piston impact.

Ah, you said "tune", and if you were using limiters I had some ideas on fattening up the torque curve. You have the 127600 cam then?

Yup. They are great cams up-top. I don't see any real solid/stable power until I am over 5k rpm's though.

Tip-in is at 300 ft-lb. and it stays there until about 3800 rpm. It climbs a little, maybe 25 ft-lb., then flatens out until 4700 rpm. Once it hits 4700-4800 it wakes up and jumps to about 365 ft-lb. and is strong until about 7k.

I think it is part of my problem with my 60' and 330' times.

Nice! I made pretty good gains from Steeda 90 to CL Race 95mm, Im sure you'll see more!

Well, I got to Excessive and had the car tuned on the dyno today. Man, I am shocked. Picked up 10 HP and 13 ft/lb. of tq damn near across the board. Very happy... now, time for the track.

Glad it worked for you Marc. It was just collected dust on my bench, waiting for me to get heads. Since that isn't going to occur until I blow the motor, I'm glad it went to good use. Track time is in order now!

Very cool, can't wait to see the results at the track.
