Well, I WAS going to remove the skinny 245 series all seasons off the '97 vert, but I'm leaving them on a few more days and put the sandbag back in the trunk, just in case I'm feeling stupider than usual and make a run for Bethesda tomorrow morning from Westminster. More likely though I'll wake up to 4-5" and have a full day of driveway and 6 cars to dig out. Please, let this be the last one!
Edit: thanks for the bitching forum Scott. :-0

Yea, but we are expecting 6 more inches soon. We will see if we get it.

I get up at 5, doesn't look too bad, maybe 2 inches, and some flurries. Figure I'll have a couple of cups of coffee, wait a few hours for the trucks to plow the area, and head in.
Now, it's like a blizzard out there, I have a foot of drift against the sliding glass door, and I swear 2-3 inches have fallen in the last hour. Crap.
My son just came down all dressed for work at his speed shop, looked out the back, and said "I'm going back to bed". That's the spirit!!! I'll wait until he just falls asleep, then get him back up and make him shovel with me...

What a shitty day. Our primary exchange db (180gb) is off line, running a recovery due to a thermal shutdown (long story, but our hvac equipment is fixed). And no way to tell our users we are on liberal leave.
Crap!
Guess I'm dusting off the truck and heading in.

I measured 8" in most places, but the wind was causing a lot of drifting and it was higher in a few spots. Took Zach and I 3 hours to clean the drive, the walk and all 6 vehicles. The plow JUST came through and put a foot a snow at the junction of the drive and street. None of us went to work although I've been on the phone between everything. Have another conf call at 3, one more at 4, then I'm taking a nap!
