Exclamation Heads and Cams Go In Today

Man, I am excited! Today I start my install. The plan for today is to drop the motor and tear down the top-end. Friday I should be able to do the install of the parts and put the engine back in. Saturday is tuning and dyno pulls.

I'll keep you guys up to speed as it unfolds. I plan on lots of pictures too.

"drop the motor". So you're yanking the k-member and pulling it out from the bottom? Do you have a lift????

Yes, I disconnected the K-member and dropped the motor. The guys at Excessive Motorsport are kind enough to let me use their shop and lift to do the work. Chris (the owner) is also helping me with a few things like setup of the timing.

The motor is out and the teardown is done. I have a few pics I will post later. Going to dinner now. See you in a few.

LOL... It was hard to say the least. But if it cuts the ET the way I hope, it will be well worth it.

If you want to come down saturday to watch the tuning and dyno pulls, I should be there around 11. It might be a good time to pick up the heads too. If not, we can meet up later for that.

Marc Finished tonight, the Motor is back in the Car, the Engine is Running and it sounds Sweet.....
What a Day.. I think marc is going to sleep-in LOL he looks beat.

There were a couple of little mishaps, I broke a Bolt on the Cam Phaser while installing the lockouts (It said 210 in lbs) no way,
Second is Marc broke the Head Temp sensor (Dam things Brass), so need a new one of those. oh and the engine ground wire was broken.
